Adapting Library Spaces and Collections in a Digital Age

I know it’s not directly related to the architecture, but if you think about it, libraries are going to have to begin reconsidering their physical spaces and collections as everything increasingly moves digital. It is interesting to think how buildings, that were designed to hold thousands of paper copy physical books, are supposed to adapt their spaces and collections to continue to hold these physical volumes while finding available space to provide accessibility to all things digital, ie. films, music, games, etc. Just a thought that I know doesn’t directly correlate but which interested me after the Carnegie reading.
